Dr Denard graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Health Related Professions to earn his Baccalaureate of Science in Medical Technology and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to earn his doctor of Medical Dentistry.
Dr Denard has been in the practice of General Dentistry since 1988. During this time he has accrued over 30 years of military service as a Dental Officer with the United States Army retiring as a Colonel in 2019 and more than 25 years of private practice. His active tours of duty included 4 years in Heidelberg, Germany where he had the opportunity to seek advanced training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Pedodontics. In 1992 this training awarded him assignment to Norfolk, Virginia at Ft. Eustis Army Community Hospital and the Ft. Monroe Dental Health Clinic. More recently, Dr. Denard completed an active tour of duty in Bagram, Afghanistan where he was assigned as the Chief Dental Officer and tasked to provide Dental Care to over 3,000 multi-national military personnel within a Combat Support Hospital. Further deployments soon thereafter found him at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and Camp Atterbury, Indiana where he continued to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. He managed and operated the dental clinic for activated reserve soldiers requiring dental care prior to their deployment to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Dr Denard opened his private practice in Greensburg, PA in 1992. There he provides comprehensive family dental care to the Greater Greensburg Community. He is longtime resident of Greensburg for over 45 years, and currently resides in Hempfield Township. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1988, holds licensure to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce since 1988.
